Hara Papadokostaki studied English Language and Literature at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, majoring in Linguistics. Part of her undergraduate studies took place at La Sapienza University in Rome through an Erasmus scholarship. She continued her studies at the Institute of Education in London, specializing in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language, and at the Hellenic Open University, where she studied - among other things - Curriculum Development, Assessment and Teacher Education in Foreign Language Teaching.

She has more than twenty years of experience in foreign language teaching, teacher training, and educational materials and programmes design and development. She has collaborated for many years with the publishing company MM Publications as an educational consultant, developing educational material for the teaching of English as a foreign language and training teachers in Greece and abroad.

Her love of foreign languages led her to earn several language certificates: Certificate of Proficiency of Cambridge University, Sorbonne II of Sorbonne University, Diploma di Lingua e Cultura Italiana of the Italian Institute, and Diploma de Español Como Lengua Extranjera (Superior Level) of the Cervantes Institute. She is a teacher of English, French, Italian and Spanish, a certified adult educator (EOPPEP), a lecturer at LAEK courses, as well as an oral examiner for TIE exams.
