Marina Koumoulentzou



Kindergarten and Creative Activities Teacher

Marina Koumoulentzou is a graduate of the Pedagogical Department of Early Childhood Education of the University of Thessaly and has recently earned a Master´s Degree in Special Education and Inclusion.

Participating in an Erasmus programme, Marina completed a semester of her studies in Montpellier. She went on to do an internship as a teacher assistant at the Forest International School in Paris, where she continued working as a kindergarten teacher for a further year. In addition, she has worked at the Le Petit cours du Rocher bilingual school in Paris. Marina has also worked as an animator of recreational activities for children in large hotels in Syros and Ano Chora and as an au pair-nanny in a family in Versailles and Boston.

A fluent speaker of English and French, Marina is currently learning Spanish. She has studied classical and modern dance and free musical improvisation. She has participated in an international symposium of the research programme Thales with "A little ad(d) music: from museum artefacts to music creative acts" and in the 5th conference of ENEDIM with "The Dis-covery of the Re-covery." It is apparent that Marina likes to be active in various fields and tries to apply this knowledge to the pedagogy and diversity of every child.
